Q. Do I need a permit for a skip?
A. Permits are required by most local councils for skips that need to be placed on public land, including footpaths, and the roads or highways.
Q. How long can I keep the skip?
A. The normal skip hire is for 7 days but this can be extended to suit your needs. If you require a permit for skip placement these can be arranged for a maximum of 28 days. For more advice call us..
Q. What can I put in my skip?
A. Skips are for general waste, inert waste, wood, metal and builders waste. No Fridges, no TV's or monitors, hazardous waste which includes paints, solvents, liquids or asbestos
Q.What does the price include?
A. The price quote online includes the hire of the skip, as well as delivery and collection. It does not include any additional equipment, permits or subsequent charges that might be incurred.
Q.What if there isnt a skip big enough?
A. If you find there isn't a skip size convenient for the particular job you require it for, There is an option for our crew to arrive with a waste van to help you dispose of your waste.
We offer a 6 yard skip which will be 2 x 3yard skips. We can deliver one 3 yard skip and collect the other 3 yard skip upon arrival.
